In the world of Film and Fashion, Acheampong Magazine collaborates with African’s best Creatives in empowering Black Filmmakers and engaging film lovers in both digital and print.  Acheampong Magazine in 2018 began to award and celebrate outstanding filmmakers with African Content through its “AREEL”, an annual outdoor cinema and awards.

The Magazine’s first ever issue was covered by British-Ghanaian actress Ama K. Abebrese who played roles in two extraordinary films, “Azali” (Ghana’s first ever entry to the Oscars) and “The Burial of Kojo” (Ghana’s first ever entry to the Golden Globes).

In her interview, she shared some defining moments as an actress and a whole lot. While acknowledging the efforts and support of some key industry players in a struggling industry, the magazine also shares insights of two young rising Ghanaian actors; Joseph Otsiman and Cynthia Dankwa. The issue can be purchased on Amazon
