Movies to the viewer is just an art by the professionals to bring joy to them and provide advice to them through the drama they put on the screens. What really goes into these films, the efforts, the failures, the pain and all the stress? It doesn’t cross the mind of the people outside the film industry that these actors and actresses are also human.
Movie stars are seen by most people as flawless and invincible people but is that really the case. This has got me wondering … do these actors have personal lives and problems? What really goes on behind the scenes? Their lives are put on halt just to get us entertained, educated and corrected. Some people think they deserve what they go through because they are paid to act. Whether they act or not, they will definitely have means of living comfortable lives.
What they really do is put their talents out there for us to appreciate. Putting everything aside to make the world a better place.
Film making is not as easy as it seems. Actors put in a lot of effort into what they do. Moving out of one character to the other, being a different person every time they have to work. Memorizing and adding emotions to scripts. The actors and actresses have to read words and create wonderful emotional attachments to these scripts. They work around the clock, don’t sleep for days, get hurt on set, and have people judging them because of roles they play. All these are tolerated just to get the perfect shots for viewers.
They make time for us and combine this with being around for their families. Some go through a lot personally but still get on set to produce something for us. They have family and friends too, they also get sick, they are no super humans. Meta humans exist only in movies. Roles they play on our screens do not define them. Being good enough for a role doesn’t imply that that’s who they are in real life. Off the screens, they are daughters, sons, fathers, mothers, siblings and friends to other people.
Their personal lives do not concern viewers. Just because we watch them and they are stars doesn’t mean we should be nosy about them. People come out and say anything about actors and actresses because they think they know them. Just because we watch them doesn’t mean we know them and have the right to criticize them and bad mouth them everywhere. These people are struggling just like us. They get tired too, they get ill too and have emotional breakdowns too. They work to make money just like everyone out there and what they do is a decent way of making money.
Nobody has the audacity to criticize these actors without knowing what really goes on in their lives. And the prying eyes are too much, their personal lives are not part of the movies, they deserve to live and enjoy their personal lives like we all do.
Actors are really doing a lot for us as well as themselves. Viewers should try to respect them to the max and appreciate all the efforts being put in to educate the world through the art of films.
